Yurkhan Space Station

Yurkhan is more than just a Twitch channel: it’s a full-fledged science fiction universe. Between book reviews, live readings, and interstellar debates, Yann — the creator — wanted to give his fictional space station a strong visual identity, the stage for all his programs.

waaaw.studio joined the adventure to bring this universe to life and establish the graphic foundations of a world like no other.

Designing a giant space station that could reflect all the elements of the Twitch channel in a coherent, immersive environment that stays true to the creator’s tone.

It was both an artistic and narrative challenge: every corner of the station had to tell a story, carry a reference, and evoke content. One major reference discussed during the process was the universe of The Expanse (Amazon Prime).

A true worldbuilding exercise in illustration, where every detail matters.

The result: a rich, spectacular visual that serves as both a visual landmark, a narrative backdrop, and a brand identity for the channel.

With an original design built to live online, evolve over time, and take viewers on an adventure far beyond the live stream.
