Each year, the Belgian division of this international group presents its past achievements and upcoming projects. But this time, they chose to break away from the beaten track: no more classic slideshow presentations — instead, a total immersion in a virtual universe.

To bring this ambition to life, waaaw.studio was commissioned to design and produce a complete VR experience, combining worldbuilding, artistic direction and animation, for an outstanding presentation that left a mark.

Create a functional metaverse without the means or time to develop one? Challenge accepted.

We designed:

• Custom 3D avatars in the client’s colors.
• Several scripted maps adapted to the narration.
• And orchestrated the entire sequence through a shoot in a VR environment, with headsets and controllers in hand.

A true exercise in technical coordination, live performance, network adjustments… and let’s say it: solid resistance to motion sickness.

At the international meeting, the presentation transformed the traditional annual review into a real show. Thanks to the interaction between real and virtual, the experience seduced and captivated.
