The Story
Our collaboration with Tour des Sites started with a small false start: their first request came in urgently, and unfortunately, we couldn’t respond due to lack of availability.
But since we really wanted to work with them, we made sure they knew it… and they came back to us with their next project.
This time, we were headed to Bastogne, a Belgian town with a rich and impressive historical past.
The show had to tell its story — from medieval times to World War II, while weaving in its legends and folklore.
Initially planned to work on 4 scenes, we ended up creating 16, out of a total of 56, for a monumental show lasting over 40 minutes.
When you love what you do, you go all in!

The Challenge
The show took place simultaneously on three historic buildings:
- La Porte de Trèves
- Saint-Pierre Church
- Maison Mathelin
Each one came with its own architectural features, textures, and dimensions — a real challenge for precise mapping.
Every image had to align perfectly, embracing the stone surfaces while remaining fluid and spectacular.
On top of that, we had to coordinate with multiple artists, live performers, and a voice-over that served as the narrative thread.
Timing was tight and coordination had to be flawless — a bit like conducting an orchestra… but with pixels and centuries-old stone.

The WAAAW Effect
We opted for an immersive and dynamic approach, playing with the textures of the buildings to create a truly engaging visual experience.
Each scene was designed to tell a chapter of Bastogne’s history, surprising the audience with depth effects and fluid motion.
The result: a captivating show where video, voice-over, and live performance worked together in perfect harmony.
