The Story
Happy with the success of the project made for the Year of the Dragon, Golden Palace — operator of a chain of casinos in France and Belgium — raised the stakes again, and since we are not the kind to rest on our laurels: we followed!
Same setup: an immersive space visible from the outside, dressed with LED walls and ceiling.
New challenge: celebrate the Year of the Snake through a visual universe as spectacular as the previous one, or even more. The brief? Take back the mastered technical bases, and raise the level on artistic direction. In short, we went all in!
The Challenge
The technical stakes were similar to those of the previous year: synchronize the content on several screens to create a smooth 3D illusion without distortion.
But on the creative side, we could go much further:
- An even more accomplished background, mixing 2D illustration and photobashing for a richer and more cinematic rendering.
- An ultra-detailed 3D serpent, whose scales subtly integrate the client’s logo.
Addition of a character in the same universe, floating lanterns and a neat play of lights, with notably immersive backlighting.
The WAAAW Effect
As for the Year of the Dragon, the magic worked. And above all: trust was reinforced.
The client again commissioned us to adapt this creation to all the screens of their gaming rooms, in the most varied formats.
A nice recognition of the creative work and technical mastery of WAAAW, with in addition, a project that is becoming an annual meeting.
