The Story
For an exhibition dedicated to its investments and innovations in Europe, Amazon wanted to showcase its initiatives in a prestigious setting, particularly for representatives of European institutions.
Our partner Nouvelle Dimension approached us to design and produce the visual and multimedia content for the exhibition.
The venue chosen for its first presentation? Egmont Palace in Brussels, a historic building whose architecture contrasted with Amazon’s contemporary, technology-driven world.
Our mission was to create content that would make the exhibition engaging, cohesive and accessible, while respecting the brand’s visual identity.
Animations, scenographic elements and interactive installations all needed to work together to guide visitors through the group’s innovations.
A project at the crossroads of event design, institutional communication and digital creativity.

The Challenge
How do you transform technical information and complex data into a clear and engaging visual experience?
Amazon wanted to present its investments, innovations and commitments through an exhibition designed for a wide range of audiences, while maintaining a perfectly recognisable visual identity.
Our first challenge: respecting Amazon’s brand guidelines while bringing movement, rhythm and interactivity to the exhibition design.
To achieve this, we developed several complementary elements:
- Motion design content created to animate the exhibition displays and make the information easier to understand.
- An animated 3D wall of Amazon cardboard boxes, incorporating the brand’s visual identity and branding to create an instantly recognisable scenographic feature.
- An interactive map developed in collaboration with Mediakod, allowing visitors to explore information in a more dynamic and intuitive way.
These different elements required the design of event visuals, animation and multimedia integration, in collaboration with Nouvelle Dimension.
But the project didn’t stop at the doors of Egmont Palace!
Our second challenge: designing an exhibition that could travel and adapt to different venues.
Designed to be modular, the installation was subsequently presented in several locations, including Autoworld and the Radisson Hotel, before finding a permanent home in the reception area of Amazon’s headquarters.
Each configuration required us to maintain a consistent visitor experience despite different spatial constraints and audiences.
An evolving exhibition designed to last well beyond its opening event.

The WAAAW Effect
An exhibition that transforms information into experience!
By combining motion design, 3D animation and interactivity, Amazon’s investments and innovations came to life through a modern, accessible and cohesive visual journey.
The content created by waaaw.studio helped showcase the brand’s messages while guiding visitors through the different themes of the exhibition.
But one of the most interesting aspects of this project was its ability to evolve over time and adapt to different environments.
Following its various presentations, the exhibition was eventually installed permanently in the reception area of Amazon’s headquarters, extending the lifespan of the content created for the project.
A great demonstration of what visual content can achieve when designed from the outset to be modular, reusable and adaptable to different event settings.
From Brussels to other exhibition venues, innovation kept putting on a show. And so did the WAAAW effect!
