The Story
Commissioned by Ipalle for the technical design of a road development project, Durot SRL called on us for the 3D modeling of a sensitive construction site: rethinking rainwater management in a rural neighborhood, without spoiling the breathtaking view of the Walloon countryside.
The mission went beyond the technical: it was also about reassuring local residents, concerned about a possible industrialization of their immediate environment.
The Challenge
How do you show that functionality and quality of life can coexist?
We reconstructed the existing road and its surroundings in 3D, to realistically and clearly integrate the new developments: drainage ditches, landscaped embankments, cycle paths, pedestrian bridges, farm crossings, and even tree-lined parking lots integrated into the environment.
The idea: allow all stakeholders — residents and elected officials alike — to confidently project themselves into this new road, designed to preserve what exists while strengthening infrastructure.

Thanks to precise and fluid 3D visualization, our work helped defuse concerns, showing that this project is an improvement, not a rupture.
A communication tool that became a mediation support between institutions, residents and elected officials. Because a beautiful view deserves to be respected… and protected too!
