CHWapi – Laying of the First Stone

As part of the construction of its new hospital center in Tournai, CHWapi called on our studio through our partner Nouvelle Dimension to produce a televised show broadcast during the official laying of the first stone ceremony.

The idea: make an impression from the very first seconds of the event, with a visual staging that matched the ambition of the architectural project. And to bring it all to life, well-known host Cécile Djunga led the show.

In addition to the introductory sequence, we produced and edited the video content broadcast during the show, with several reports covering the topics proposed by the CHWapi team.

Upstream, we designed a TV and web teaser featuring the host, as well as the complete graphic and thematic package of the event.

The major challenge was the opening sequence: bringing to life a building that did not yet exist. From drone shots made over the site of the future hospital, we integrated the architectural model provided by the construction teams in 3D. But we wanted to go further: thanks to a dynamic real-time construction animation, the building literally seemed to emerge from the ground, as if the ceremony itself launched the construction. A demanding technical challenge in terms of tracking, 3D integration and realistic rendering, which gave the event a spectacular and symbolic dimension.

As for the topics shown during the broadcast, we produced studio and on-site films, with a clear ambition: to achieve a result worthy of major documentary productions, in the spirit of immersive series like Formula One: Drive to Survive.

Projected at the opening of the ceremony, our video instantly captivated the audience, showcasing the ambition of the future hospital center in a spectacular and understandable way.

Thanks to our animated construction effect (inspired by the intro of Game of Thrones, and we admit it), guests were able to visualize the project in all its grandeur, even before the foundations were laid.
